We are excited to announce that The Guardian is teaming up with Classic Album Sundays for an exclusive series of immersive classic album listening events, and that the first of these will present ‘The Hour Of Bewilderbeast’ and the special guest will be Badly Drawn Boy himself.
Damon will be discussing the album with Classic Album Sundays founder Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, and then the event will feature a full vinyl playback of the album on one of the world’s best hi-fi sound systems, courtesy of Audio Note UK. The evening will conclude with a Q&A so fans will have the opportunity to ask Damon the questions they have always wanted to ask about this seminal album.
The event will take place in London on Wednesday 16th September from 7pm – 10pm, at Cecil Sharp House, Trefusis Room, 2 Regent’s Park Road, London NW1 7AY.
Tickets for this special event are £25 in advance and £20 for Guardian Partners and Patrons, and they are available here.
